Weekend Maintenance Success

A huge thank you to all members who came down and helped with our two-day maintenance effort last week. The amount achieved across Thursday and Friday was outstanding, and the difference around the club is already noticeable.

From strimming back the weeds around the trailer and clearing the clubhouse side steps, to cutting the foliage right back to the original boundary line, the whole area now looks cleaner, safer, and far more open.

We also re-measured and organised the sweep and sculling blades, moved the slabs around the back to give the trailer more room, and gave the inside of the clubhouse some well-deserved attention - including a reorganised filing cabinet and tidy storage shelves.

A special mention to Claire and Brian, who both put in a tremendous amount of work over the two days.

The club is looking refreshed and ready for the winter season — thank you to everyone who rolled up their sleeves and made it happen!
