Congratulations Gents

Congratulations Gents

With a great turnout this morning, we may not have been able to get on the river due to high river levels, but there was plenty to get on with, especially 2 important positions voted for at the Extraordinary General Meeting held at 12 noon.

Sue Wimpeney (Secretary) gathered the cats (never an easy job) in Cambridge House and with Simon Murray (Chairman) completed the voting process correctly for both David and Jason. The votes were unanimous for both roles and we know they will do a brilliant job for our small but incredibly vibrant rowing club, congratulations gentlemen.

A huge thank you to Mark Felton who has been a fantastic and pretty long standing temporary Captain over the last few years and done an oustanding job, so thank Mark, you are a star. He was presented with a bottle of the wet stuff by Simon as a token of everyone's appreciation.

Special thanks also to the juniors who were involved in the maintenance session too today, always a tremendous help.

All of this, after a morning of hard work and plenty of spit and polish in the sunshine, so a great day once again at OTRC.

David needed a sit down, those seats are heavy you know.

No the boys are not playing dominos.

A view from high, not something Claire gets to do very often eh!

Merry Christmas Everyone!
