How to Find Us
Important: Once through the gate, keep left all the way to the bottom of the hill. The boat house and club are at the end of the track - beware, it's bumpy! Parking is available at the clubhouse.
From A1M (via Peterborough)
- Take the A605 from Peterborough (approx 10 miles to Oundle)
- Ignore the first roundabout turn for Oundle
- Continue along A605, look for second turning on right signposted "Oundle and Barnwell Country Park"
- This takes you onto Barnwell Road
- Go past Supreme Concrete and The Barn Garden Centre on your left
- Look out for a gateway with a large gate into a field about 400yds on your left
- Signs say "Nene Valley Boats" and "OTRC"
- If you go past the lock, mill and Barnwell Country Park, you have gone too far
From A14 (Kettering/Thrapston)
- Take the A605 from the Kettering/Thrapston Services roundabout
- Continue along A605 towards Peterborough
- About 6 miles along, look for sign "Oundle and Barnwell Country Park" (filter road on left)
- This takes you onto Barnwell Road
- Go past Supreme Concrete and The Barn Garden Centre on your left
- Look out for a gateway with a large gate into a field about 400yds on your left
- Signs say "Nene Valley Boats" and "OTRC"
- If you go past the lock, mill and Barnwell Country Park, you have gone too far
Note: When heading away from Oundle, the gate is on your right hand side on a gentle right hand bend. You can clearly see the roof of the boathouse at the end of the track from the road.
