Getting Started
Visit the App
On your phone's web browser, go to:
app.oundletownrowing.co.uk
Log In
Enter the email address and password provided by your session coordinator or club administrator.
You're In!
Once logged in, you'll see the homepage with this week's training sessions and important club updates.
Install the App on Your Phone
The OTRC app works like a regular app on your phone - no App Store needed! Just follow these simple steps:
Find the Install Button
On the homepage, look for the "Install App" button. It's usually near the top of the page.
Tap Install
Tap the button and follow the prompts. Your phone will add the OTRC app icon to your home screen.
Open from Home Screen
From now on, just tap the OTRC icon on your home screen to open the app. It works just like any other app!
iPhone Users
If you don't see the Install button, tap the Share button at the bottom of Safari, then scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen".
Android Users
If you don't see the Install button, tap the three dots menu in Chrome, then tap "Add to Home Screen" or "Install App".
Enable Notifications
Get notified when you're assigned to a crew, when sessions are updated, or when there's important club news.
Turn On Notifications
- Tap the menu icon
- Tap "My Profile"
- Look for the "Notifications" section
- Tap "Enable Push Notifications"
- When your phone asks for permission, tap "Allow"
For Parents of Junior Rowers
If you're a parent managing your child's account, here's what you need to know:
Logging In
You'll receive your own login credentials from your junior coordinator. Log in using your email address and password - not your child's.
Managing Your Child
Once logged in, you'll see a dropdown at the top of the page showing your child's name. This lets you:
- Sign them up for training sessions
- View their attendance history
- See which crews they've been assigned to
- Register them for events and regattas
Multiple Children?
If you have more than one child at the club, use the dropdown to switch between them. Each child's sessions and information are kept separate.
